My 17 year old cat, Carina (livwell2.deviantart.com/art/Me…) had to be put down this morning.
Poor girl was having some problems - we're not sure exactly what, but the vets said there were a few things that she was struggling with...possible kidney failure, her legs were partially paralysed, she had lost heaps of weight (not that we could tell too much, coz of her fur!)...but, yeah she wasn't doing too well. Even this morning, before she went to the vet, she wanted to play with me so badly, but she just couldn't get up and walk...I think she knew something wasn't right.
I will miss her heaps...I've had her since she was about 3 months old. She was such a good girl...most of the time! Carina always made me laugh...whether it be by talking to me, or dancing with me to Billy Idol...
Man...I need some cheering up bad...
Anyway...that's about it from me.

Hi everyone,
I'm so sorry I haven't been around lately. Life's been... well... not so good.
It's been almost 2 years since I lost my job, and finding one is not an easy task. I've had quite a few interviews, but none of them have resulted in me getting work.
Meanwhile, my dad's gotten a new job, which means we have to move over to the other side of the country, leaving behind everyone we know. It seriously sucks...but at least mum & dad know some people over there. I've been looking for a place to stay here so I don't have to move... I mean, I'm 25, I don't have to live with my parents, right? WRONG! Because I have no job, I haven't got mo

About 10 minutes ago, my mum came in, saying there was a package for me from dA. I hadn't ordered anything, nor had I won any competition off the site, so I was a tad confused.
On opening the styrofoam packaging, I find this --> http://fav.me/d2d882y ie. a Trenchmaker Tumble mug!!! It was on my wishlist...and someone bought it for me!!!
They stayed anonymous, so I don't know who bought it for me... but I just want to say a big THANK YOU to whoever you are out there in dA. You are so generous!! Wow...honestly..I don't know what to say, other than a huge thanks to this awesome person!! :

Aw, that's so sad 
We had to put our dog and cat down last year. It was sad, but at least I know they're not suffering anymore. We got a new dog, Penny since then, and she made coping with it so much easier. Kittens and puppies always bring a lot of joy and distraction, have you thought about getting another one?
